Dialogues are recorded discussions about a topic, story, or article from this course.  Self organize yourselves into groups of 2 or 3 - identify a topic, a day/time, and a format - have the discussion. Record the discussion - keep it to 30 - 40 minutes.  Post the discussion to the Slack dialogues channel so we may all see/hear it.  You may do audio or video - your choice.   Samples are below.

You have 2 Dialogues in this course - each time should be with a different set of classmates.  

Organizer Bonus:  The dialogue organizer will take care of the details and legwork.  This person will organize colleagues, schedules, and recording.  This person will ask questions and watch the time (30 - 40 minutes).  This person will post the final recording for the class to see.  This person will earn 2 bonus points for the Dialogue grade, i.e. instead of 5 points, you get 7.  

When you Dialogue please share/answer the following:  

  • Introduce yourselves so we know who is who.
  • Introduce your topic and ask for everyone's first impressions.  
  • Discuss the topic as it intersects with digital storytelling and learning.
  • Relax.  Have fun.  It is hard to do this wrong.
